I have been waiting all month for this movie event and I'm glad I finally got to it! I had movie night at my place this last Tuesday and we watched the best Halloween movie ever, Hocus Pocus. (Press 'PLAY' on the media player above. The first song goes with this post)
It's campy, it's slapstick, it's ridiculously cheesy and not scary in the slightest bit. I LOVE IT! I had a great group of friends that quoted the movie along with me. We kinda of had to silence ourselves since it was Mandie's first time and we didn't want to ruin the experience. So thanks to my friends who came over to watch and participate. You guys rock!
Same night as movie night I took in a foster kitty. A friend from work found this stray hanging around with her four other cats. (Yeah, she's kinda the cat lady down the street thought not as crazy) She took her in but the rest of her family said "No." Grudgingly she passed the bundle of fluff on to me in hopes of finding her a new home. (At this kitten's age the chances of her being picked up from the shelter are slim) So I'm putting out a general adoption call to everyone. If you're looking for a new kitty then this one is free. I haven't taken her to the vet yet so don't know details. I'm estimating her to be about a year old by her size and weight. For now I'm calling her C.C.
Let me know if you can, or know of anyone who can, give her a good home.
